A PARENT’S JOURNEY THROUGH YOUTH SPORTS:
Age 5: “He’s got a cannon.”
Age 6: “He’s the fastest kid out there. Coach said so.”
Age 7: “Rec ball isn’t challenging him anymore.”
Age 8: “We tried out for select. Obviously made it.”
Age 9: “$2,800 for the season. Plus uniforms. Plus tournaments. Plus hotels.”
Age 10: “Cooperstown is basically a family vacation, right?”
Age 11: “He needs a hitting guy. And a pitching guy. And probably a mental performance coach.”
Age 12: “I’m not a crazy sports parent. The OTHER parents are crazy.”
Age 13: “We changed schools. For academics. (And also baseball.)”
Age 14: “Showcases are a requirement at this age.”
Age 15: “Ya his ranking just ticked up. We’re cooking.”
Age 16: “He just needs to get seen by the right school.”
Age 17: “The D1 schools want him to walk on. He’ll earn a spot by sophomore year.”
Age 18: “Okay, D2 is actually really competitive.”
Age 19: “He’s redshirting. Strategic.”
Age 20: “He’s focusing on school now.”
Age 21: “You know what? He’s so much happier.”
Roughly 7% of high schoolers play in college.
About 1.5% of those get drafted.
Less than half of draftees ever play one day in the big leagues.
The odds of our kids going pro are somewhere between “struck by lightning” and “find a $100 in old shorts.”
I love youth sports (all my kids play a bunch of them) just keep a good perspective my friends. ✌️
**Yes, all three confirmed:**
- Lone Star Rising PAC (pro-Talarico super PAC) commissioned and paid for the Public Policy Polling survey.
- It was conducted as an internal poll for use by the Talarico-aligned effort.
- Fielded May 22–23, 2026, with a sample of 643 likely voters (as stated on the poll graphic and PPP release).
Politico and the poll memo explicitly attribute it to the PAC.
James Talarico posted a guide teaching illegal aliens how to evade ICE agents.
- Don't open the door.
- Don't sign anything.
- Take photos of officers.
- Fight back.
He even called illegal aliens his "constituents."
Now he wants to be a United States Senator.
He cares more about illegal aliens than he does about the people he supposedly wants to represent.
Not happening.
Talarico: "They're going to dig up all kinds of old statements, take them out of context and try to paint them in the worst possible light."
Translation: I’m going to try to distance myself from my own words and beliefs so I can pretend to be a moderate until after I’m elected.
I had a professor at Cal State Long Beach who constantly trashed America as racist, oppressive, and irredeemable. He mocked the Constitution, capitalism, and virtually every American institution.
At the end of the semester, he gave an emotional story about how his mother crawled through sewer pipes to reach America.
So I raised my hand and asked: if America is this irredeemable, oppressive country, why did she risk everything to come here? And why are neither of you interested in going back?
He didn’t answer the question. Instead he called me disrespectful.
That’s because much of this ideology is not rooted in reality testing. It’s institutional theater rewarded by academia, media, and activism.
The system incentivizes moral denunciation of America while simultaneously depending on the opportunities America uniquely provides.
extending the nation’s longest current streak of NCAA Championship appearances to 1️⃣9️⃣ straight by winning the Bryan Regional 🤘

@YipStrickler@VSGA1904 I would say MULTIPLE Net tournament championships is shameful and should NOT be rewarded. It is proof of sandbaggery not being a good golfer. Winning net tournaments is something that should reflect what a good week you had.
"This was filmed last Wednesday afternoon at Riverside Veterinary Clinic in Indianapolis, Indiana. The officer is Sergeant Paul Greer. He's 41 years old. Fourteen-year veteran of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. The dog is Bruno. A ten-year-old German Shepherd who served eight years as Paul's K9 partner before a joint condition ended his working career two years ago. When Bruno retired from active duty, Paul adopted him immediately. Brought him home. Bruno spent his retirement on Paul's couch, on Paul's bed, in the passenger seat of Paul's personal truck. The transition from working partner to household companion was seamless. Bruno had always been Paul's dog. The badge and the vest were just part of the job. Over the past several months, Bruno's condition had declined steadily. The joint condition spread. He had difficulty getting up. Stopped eating regularly. Paul had been managing Bruno's comfort with guidance from Dr. Angela Reese at Riverside for months. Last Tuesday evening, Bruno stopped getting up entirely. Paul called Dr. Reese that night. Wednesday afternoon, Paul drove Bruno to Riverside. He carried Bruno in from the truck himself. Wouldn't let the techs take him. Paul's partner, Officer Dana Choi, came with him. She filmed quietly on her phone from the corner of the room. She told us afterward that she asked Paul's permission before she started recording. He nodded. Paul sat on the exam table with Bruno cradled across his lap and chest. Bruno's head rested against Paul's shoulder. His eyes were half-open. His breathing was slow and easy. Paul bowed his head and pressed his face into Bruno's fur. Bruno lay still for a long moment. Then slowly — carefully — he raised both front paws. One at a time. And wrapped them around Paul's shoulders. And held on. Paul made a sound that Dana said she will never forget. Dr. Reese, who was standing nearby preparing, went completely still. Her assistant took a step back. Nobody moved. Dana told us: 'Bruno could barely lift his head that morning. But he lifted his paws and he held Paul. In that moment, with everything he had left, he held him. I think he was saying thank you. I think he was saying goodb"
The View co-hosts just lied about Trump Accounts until Alyssa Farah Griffin pushed back, causing Behar to lash out, "Stop BSing me!"
Joy Behar claimed the policy only cares about "white children" and "Trump babies." She called it "toddler white nationalism" aimed at "American-born white children" while ignoring everyone else.
The truth?
These accounts give a $1,000 federal seed deposit to every eligible American child born between 2025 and 2028. Any family can open one with a Social Security number. Parents and relatives can add up to $5,000 per year.
They falsley racialized a universal savings program for American newborns.
Attitude is a choice.
Gratitude is a discipline.
Bitterness is expensive.
Nobody accidentally has a great attitude.
Nobody stumbles into gratitude.
And nobody means to end up bitter, it just quietly moves in when you stop choosing something better.
Guard your peace like it cost you something.
Because it did.
