@thismorning Make years 12 & 13 do a compulsory Applied Numeracy course. Teach pension calculations, taxes, net vs gross, VAT, risk, odds, etc. No exam at the end. Base it on at least 90% attendance. There is no need for a grade. It is real life maths so it is in the students' own good.

11.5 hrs in and still not left the airport. Close to the Exit when the sprinkler system broke and covered everyone in dirty water, so everyone pushed back in and now at the back.
