@Cernovich We have to do both. Consumers that are middle class cannot be told to wait a decade and then you can afford beef - no promises though. Bribe the ranchers to keep heifers and punish them from sending them to slaughter. Import beef until domestic supply = demand
@Farmertom7@SecRollins@SecKennedy I am from dairy country. Farmers are getting $1200 for 120# 3 day old black calf. And they are getting crazy money for the older culls (no longer produce milk efficiently) that go for ground beef and ungraded tenderloin.
@toddstarnes Yes. Stand with the ranchers. Continue to pay outrageous prices for beef. Most middle class Americans canโt afford to stand with you. Glad you have that type of disposable income.
@seanmdav@MZHemingway When you actually raised a beef to maturity I will consider your opinion. We are at least a decade from American herds being able to supply American beef demand. At these prices all heifers are going to slaughter. We need foreign beef.
@ChrisMasterjohn You have never raised beef. Beef herd size is to low and not getting bigger. Foreign beef needs to come in so ranchers stop slaughtering heifers to make a quick buck. Middle class deserves to eat beef. Ranchers are greedy F**ks!
@MeriwetherFarms You want no middle class person to be able to afford beef! And you ranchers whined that the high prices would allow you to keep heifers but you sold the for slaughter to make green. Shame!
@svdate They are journalists. Do they think a war journalist embedded with the marines are not going to be left behind as if they were a marine. NO! Journalists should know the risks. No Secret Service agent is going to throw his body in front of bullet to save a journalist!
