@HoopHerSpeaks Come on 🤦🏾♂️ the ball is literally still in her hands when the clock hits 0. That’s not “turning the lights out”, that’s just the play being dead.
@iamdatdudeee@BrickCenter_ That’s the point. A defender can move backwards after establishing legal guarding position. Show me where she establishes it before the contact. She’s still adjusting her position as the offensive player advances. That’s the part of the rule we’re actually debating. Genius.
@Flash_v9@BrickCenter_ You don’t have to intentionally trip someone for it to be a foul. That’s not the rule. A defender can slide backwards, but if you extend your leg/foot into the offensive player’s path and cause contact, it can be a foul. Watch the sequence, not one freeze-frame.
@BrickCenter_ Boston’s foot isn’t just sitting there planted the entire time, she’s moving laterally/backward as A’ja drives and their feet come together. The question is whether Boston legally maintained her guarding position, not whether she intentionally tripped her.
See the last whipped, We crashed it bought a new one and matched it,
It’s just me and my dawgs in traffic, chopping it up and laughing
About certain events that happened, and the ladies we be cracking
In them hotel rooms with passion…
