@allmoshnopit I coached a high school team in Alabama. Field didn’t drain well but a good surface. If we went more than 3-4 days without rain, it would be unplayable. We would water before the game, for 7 min at halftime & the next morning. Opposing coaches thought I did it to gain advantage

Defensive focus was getting organized quickly and trying to prevent the 7 from playing thru seams to targets on the other end. Attacking focus was creating overloads and empty space centrally to move in to.
