The 40 rules I wish I'd known stepping into the real world:
– No one cares. Go do the thing.
– Chase interests, not passions.
– Confidence demands evidence.
– Heroic decades > heroic days.
– Hold opinions loosely, values tightly.

8 YEARS AGO TODAY
JR SMITH's infamous blunder in GM1 of the 2018 NBA Finals. LeBron had 51/8/8 in the loss
JR: "The worst part about it is when you know you right. You just know you right. But you dead ass wrong."
Lebron is punished for getting this team to the Finals and not winning. Haters respect tanking when you can't win it all. Isn't that a losers mentality🤔
@PublicMoneyEdge I’m 44. I grew up a Cavs fan watched Jordan own us. I thought he was the best ever until LeBron came back to Cleveland. After those 4 years,I thought it was a tie. About 3 years ago I believe LeBron took it over.I’m also a homer but I love watching them both for different reasons
@apsportsperform@AltamontXCTF@pntrack You are assuming quite a bit with this statement.
And, if you’re a real track coach, you don’t limit yourself to “sprints” or “distance”. I’m a track and field coach.
This whole sprint coach vs. distance coach crap is getting old.
NASCAR moves at 200 mph. But when someone is hurting, it stops to comfort.
The NASCAR Family -- and it is indeed a family -- wrapped it arms around the Busch family, who Sunday sought comfort from grief at the place Kyle captivated us all.
The racetrack.
For SportsCenter, an essay on a 200 mph remembrance.
Still reeling from Kyle Busch's death. But he said something that made me pause.
"You never know when your last win is."
Said days before his death. And it got me thinking.. Right before Charlie died, he did an interview. He was asked the question if anything happened to you, what would you like to be remembered for? Charlie said his faith. He wanted to be known for his love, faith, and walk with Christ. He wanted to change hearts and lives.
It makes me wonder if, on some spiritual level, they knew their time was coming to an end?!? Just makes you think....heavy thoughts today.
Both are missed. 💔
