This year, @SenGaryPeters and @SenBillCassidy introduced legislation that would require greater transparency into federal software purchases, including by identifying restrictive licensing practices. Read more: https://t.co/28OPyoFlwI
@ahrferrier A vaccine rollout that’s literally been going at a snails pace & people ignoring necessary barrier restraints because of fatigue after 3 months of curfew (which did absolutely nothing.
I was reading the #protocol take on the Rs position on 230 today and - while there’s a lot I think the cos have done better when engaging gov (both in the US and abroad) - on this issue, they are now in a catch-22 not (entirely) or their own making. Oh, and agree w below. ;-)
The answer I wish CEOs would give at today's 230 hearing: "We understand that not everyone agrees with our content policies but the great thing about the open Internet is that is that if you don't like our service you can get the information somewhere else....
Just saying, if there’s another super spike in 2 weeks in #France it’s because basically every single cafe in #Paris is PACKED right now as people have one last drink before the (ahem) month long #confinement (yeah right). #parislockdown#taketwo
Started watching the Challenger series on Netflix tonight. Literally teared up 4 times in the first 20 minutes (including, no joke, when Neil Diamond's "America" started playing). Lots of things I'm missing about the US these days.
I can't help but giggle at some of the points made in this...being all powerful? Meh, it's tiring (argued the robot who doesn't tire). https://t.co/bdJxnuDt73

Things I never thought I’d see / do: a totally empty Arc de Triomphe Etoile & Champs Élysées (on VE Day no less). One of the most intimidating streets I’ve ever driven became the source of squeals of joy doing laps at full speed and top down. #surreal#bucketlist#pandemicperks
Prepping for morning runs that require shopping after feels like I’m reenacting a scene from a medical drama. Plastic gloves☑️Face mask☑️Hand sanitizer (post purchase)☑️Sanitizing wipes (for pre-home rentry)☑️Alcohol wipes (for emergency)☑️ #ridiculous#NewNormal2020#fornow
My neighbor is blasting We Are the World post the 8pm recognition of our caretakers and I am not sure if it is being played in seriousness or jest. All I do know is I heard a collective snicker of laughter across the neighborhood.
@MrPeanut @jorgeol69 It's ok @MrPeanut , losing your password happens to the best of us. Just make sure its secure, that #koolaidman seems like a joker and don't want him hacking your account!
Spent the morning going through @Shutterfly albums - which says something itself - from the early 2000s for a friends 40th birthday and it made me sad to think of all of the dirty basement bar parties that 20-somethings are now missing out on. #2decadespast20s#basementdivebars
One positive outcome of the pandemic: it’s kept me from consuming a baker’s dozen of @CadburyUK cream eggs over this Easter Season. Even w #quarantine snacking, I’m pretty sure it’s a net caloric win.
