Look at the way DC of Kishtwar, His Highness Pankaj Kumar Sharma talks to the Army personnel just because his highness had to face 10 min delay due to the Army's movement. I would suggest putting the whole Kishtwar District on lockdown whenever his highness is on the move.
This is both interesting and insightful.
Contractors are now quoting 25%-30% lower as no money needs to be paid to private pockets.
Tamil Nadu is moving in the right direction. We all need to ensure it sustains.
Brown Sepoy of the day is “Nirupama Subramanian”
She writes for Newslaundry and every article targets the same government and all the Kashmir pieces mirror Pakistan's narrative. Interestingly, every fact check reveals the same omissions. 🧵
A Las Vegas nurse practitioner bought a $594,000 Ferrari and a $4.6 million beach resort in the Philippines while allegedly running a $906 million fraud scheme that targeted elderly hospice patients for unneeded procedures.
Marizel Yukee has been indicted in the biggest health care fraud takedown in US history.
Feds seized 8 cars, $467K cash, and several Nevada properties — including a house on (no joke) Money Street in Pahrump.
Not really. I'm currently in Patna and the famous Hanuman Mandir (just outside the railway station) has been being run by an independent Trust for decades without any scam or major controversy. In fact, the trust managing the temple has only expanded its activities and runs various schools and hospitals in Patna.
The biggest Hindu temple in the world, currently under construction in Champaran, Bihar, will also be managed by the same trust. Incidentally, this trust was one of the first major donors to Ayodhya Ram Temple, and Late Acharya Kunal, the founder of the trust, played an important role in the court proceedings too.
I’m sure there would be many other examples. While ‘one size fits all’ solution is elusive, and possibly will always remain elusive for ‘free the temple’ movement, there is not major setback, I think. Actually, first let it be a ‘movement’, it’s just an idea as of now.
#WATCH Bidhannagar, West Bengal: An FIR was registered against former Kolkata Deputy Mayor Atin Ghosh, his daughter, and others regarding assault and property-related issues.
Complainant Kamalini Paul says, "I had a house that my father had transferred to my name before he passed away... Atin Ghosh really liked the house, but I didn't want to sell it. He wanted to forcibly take the house from me. He forcibly came to the house, made me sign, and took possession of the house. He kept the house with him for 7 years..." (25.06)
Nobody was bothered about the quality of Mid Day Meals in West Bengal schools so far.
But since the contract has been awarded to ISKCON, everyone must now have an opinion on it.
It's ridiculous, frankly.
What matters is that the children will be getting far better food than what they were getting so far.
Everything else is just gossip.

The tyranny of Tipu Sultan: Princess Aswathi Thirunal Gouri Lakshmi Bayi, a member of the Travancore Royal Family, recounts the atrocities committed by Tipu Sultan in Kerala, including the destruction of temples, forced conversions, and the displacement of communities from Malabar.
She recalls that Maharaja Karthika Thirunal Rama Varma provided refuge to those who fled Malabar, offering them shelter, land, and the means to rebuild their lives.
She raises a pertinent question: why should Tipu Sultan be regarded as a “national hero”?
