The PCA leadership is completely out of touch. Men in the pews, especially those under 40, are tired of being treated like the enemy. The average White man is finished with the institutional abuse and the sneering from those with credentials.
Eli McGowan's pastor decided to use a white racial slur.
After I reposted it and called him out, he deleted it. No apology.
@Danielfwells - would you like to comment?
It's not my intention to demean Samuel Sey or his family but it's not at all surprising that the beneficiary of replacement migration wouldn't understand what it's done to the people he's replacing.
Samuel's family like countless millions of others enjoys the lottery winning-esque good fortune of immigrating to Canada from Africa because the Canadian government told them Canada was an idea, too, but nobody asked the Canadian people like nobody asked the American people.
Our governments took actions we overwhelmingly oppose (e.g., Iran War). "Anybody can become an American" was a political propaganda slogan, not the voice of the American People, and it sucks that so many people all over the world believe it. We did not invite immigrants here and we're not happy that they're here because we never believed that lie told on our behalf. Immigration has been inflicted upon us and immigrants have been very clear about how little they care. It's all upside to them.
Finally, it's in horribly poor taste for an immigrant to show up and start voicing opinions on how the nation kind enough to take him in is run. Samuel, please don't talk about North American politics again for as long as you live. Anything but that, it's just too insulting. You have chosen life as a guest in another's home. I wish you all the best but please show some manners while you're here.
We are excited to announce the founding of a new institution: the Institute of Christian Politics (ICP).
ICP will support and prepare gifted young men for service in American institutions and in public life.
Watch our launch video featuring Stephen Wolfe, ICP's president.
@Brian_Sauve The shocking part is the dishonesty.
If they actually came out and repudiated the WCF, and stated that our fathers were wrong, it would far easier for those faithful men and elders in the church to see what is happening.
Since there is a little chatter going on on X about the sin of schism, this is a good time to remember the principled, godly, Scriptural, confessional, catholic-spirited, churchly argument of the PCA founders in the Message to All Churches (1973).
"When a denomination will not exercise discipline and its courts have become heterodox or disposed to tolerate error, the minority finds itself in the anomalous position of being submissive to a tolerant and erring majority. In order to proclaim the truth and to practice the discipline which they believe obedience to Christ requires, it then becomes necessary for them to separate. This is the exercise of discipline in reverse. It is how we view our separation.
Some of our brethren have felt that the present circumstances do not yet call for such a remedy. They remain in the Presbyterian Church in the United States. We trust they will continue to contend for the faith, though our departure makes their position more difficult. We express to them our hope that God will bless their efforts, and that there may come a genuine spiritual awakening in the Presbyterian Church in the United States.
We trust that our departure may cause those who control and direct the programs and policies of the Presbyterian Church in the United States to reexamine their own position in the light of the Word. Our prayer is that God may use this movement to promote spiritual awakening, not only in the new Church, but also in that from which we have separated. If in the providence of God, such were to occur, we would gladly acknowledge that the grounds for separation and division would have to be reassessed.
We declare also that we believe the system of doctrine found in God’s Word to be the system known as the Reformed Faith. We are committed without reservation to the Reformed Faith as set forth in the Westminster Confession and Catechisms. It is our conviction that the Reformed faith is not sectarian, but an authentic and valid expression of Biblical Christianity. We believe it is our duty to seek fellowship and unity with all who profess this faith. We particularly wish to labor with other Christians committed to this theology."
But why did you call him/us names and not interact with the Scripture or the basically unbroken understanding of gender roles since the Apostles? It’s easy to block us. You’ll have a harder time explaining to God why you so casually disregarded clear Scriptural commands and thousands of years of faithful teaching.

@Brian_Sauve This also becomes easier when the wife is being submissive and the husband is leading.
Clearly defined roles make it easier to play together.
