🚆 Passenger Information | Train Diversions in Bengaluru

Due to ongoing engineering works between Krishnarajapuram (KJM) and Whitefield (WFD), several trains will be diverted on 06.06.2026, 07.06.2026 & 08.06.2026. Some trains will skip stations including Krishnarajapuram, Whitefield, Malur, Bangarpet, Jolarpettai and others depending on the service. Passengers are advised to check their train status before commencing their journey. The works are part of infrastructure upgrades on the Bengaluru rail corridor.

A fancy floral inauguration of a new train is being conducted at SMVT Bengaluru, but the TTE staff rest rooms are infested with bedbugs, dirty bedsheets, and lack even basic facilities.
After exhausting duty hours, staff come here to take rest, but instead this place is becoming a source of illness and suffering.

Sir, SMVT Railway Station staff rest room is in extremely unhygienic condition. Beds are full of bedbugs, no bedsheets are provided, and cleaning is very poor. Railway employees are forced to rest in unhealthy conditions after duty. The issue of bed bugs has been brought to the notice of the administration for the first time at TTEs rest room at Shimoga. Action has been taken to address the bed bug menace. Alternative arrangements have been made for the on-duty staff to facilitate fumigation work, and in the interest of staff safety and health, the rooms will be kept closed for the prescribed period after fumigation to avoid any exposure to chemicals and to ensure effective disinfection. The TTEs’ Rest Room at SMET is being maintained as per the contract conditions, with periodic disinfection carried out regularly (last two fumigations conducted on 25.03.2026 and 06.04.2026).
