#OPEC SG HE #HaithamAlGhais met with HE Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation🇷🇺 and Co-chair of #OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting, in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation, on the sidelines of #SPIEF2024.

In the meeting, HE Al Ghais thanked HE Novak for the leadership role that #Russia has played in the Declaration of Cooperation since its inception on 10 December 2016. The DoC, which will mark its eighth anniversary later this year, has become a cornerstone of oil market stability.

They discussed recent DoC decisions, market conditions and issues related to the energy and oil industries, including energy security and investment.
