I've used @UberEats ever since it began. Obnoxious delivery experience. Clearly the support staff are not equipped to do anything. Need to cancel the app and this whole ugly exploitative cycle.
@UberEats worst experience ever. Order first meal of the day at 3 pm. "latest delivery" keeps getting pushed. Till 2 hours later. Driver realizes she can't make it, just claims "delivered". Driver lies and says she dropped it off. I was at the gate. Starving and no food at 5 pm.
@nefertitillated I'll check out that one next. It's funny how the quarantine has led me to rewatching some old favorites in the midst of the new stuff.
@bashabazouks @nefertitillated Death of Stalin. I remember watching In the Loop and discovering the joy of Armando Ianucci around 10 years ago. Did we watch that together @nefertitillated ?
@nefertitillated Lol. I rewatched this recently you know...exactly as funny as it was 10 years ago. "I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude. I know what dude I am!"
CONVEXITY OF ECONOMIC EFFECTS FROM PANDEMICS
Why the economic costs from pandemics can still grow exponentially even when infection rates slow down.
We live in an overoptimized world.
@mihirfadnavis@firstpost There were no Nazis in WWI! Can't take a review seriously when lack of knowledge is so glaring. 1917 depicts WW I's devastating legacy: horror of trench warfare. A Paths of Glory style film about how outdated war games+modern tech destroys everything, shown in a one-person lens.
New research from @Salesforce: More than twice as many sales teams now prioritize leads based on data analysis instead of intuition. https://t.co/ZvfuLI5yWb
