I’m excited to share a milestone I’m incredibly grateful for: two years of @Onchainmedia! 🥳🎂💗

On August 17, 2024, I sat down with @jessepollak at @onchainsf and said the words on camera for the first time:

“We’re starting Onchain Media.”

At the time, I had no idea what those words would grow into.

Over the last two years, Onchain Media has grown from an idea into a media company and a growing community that has given me the opportunity to work alongside incredible founders, creators, teams, and ecosystems across the industry.

I’m especially grateful for the support we received early on from @base and @coinbase, from grant funding and network connections to speaking and paid hosting opportunities, and for the people who genuinely championed what I was building.

A special thank you to @jessepollak, @davidtsocy, @CryptoStatuette, @0xaneri, @ZacPrater, @svmvn, @sarahzorah, @natago, @_priyanks, @Nibel_eth, @neodaoist, and many more who supported the journey along the way.

Base gave Onchain Media an important launchpad, and no matter how much we continue to grow and evolve, I’ll always be grateful for where we started.

Two years later, after working with dozens of projects as clients, partners, collaborators, and friends across the ecosystem, I wanted to look back at what we built, what I learned running a media company, and some of the moments that made these first two years so meaningful.

10 days ago, my boyfriend survived an unexpected subarachnoid hemorrhage and hemorrhagic stroke.

What started as a normal Monday morning quickly became one of the scariest experiences of our lives.

One moment we were sipping coffee and starting our day. Within a half hour, I was speaking with brain surgeons. It all happened so quickly.

After more than a week in the surgical ICU, I’m incredibly grateful he’s still here and expected to make a full recovery ❤️‍🩹

Life can change in an instant. Hold the people you love close.

Here’s a new term:
subarachnoid hemorrhage

10 nights in the ICU.

Extreme daily headaches.

Blood thinners, pain killers, anti seizure meds, CAT scans, MRIs, and more.

Time lost its edge and days are blurring.

Thank you @rachelcreates for being by my side through this, my family, and all the support from my friends at @useboardwalk.

Never saw this coming. Worst experience of my life and I’m lucky to still be here. 🙏
