@dlm_bmlawkc This whole thread is myopic. This loss was a landslide, not a "silent majority" turnout game. You're in a bubble. And you show a deep, stubborn ignorance about displacement. You still underestimate KC Tenants knowledge and experience to name realities you seem to refuse to see.
This is what Michael Savwoir, 1 of the union leaders for KC Tenants, told @fox4kc: āTwo billion dollars in taxpayers money, man, could do a hell of a lot to develop our community. The billionaires donāt finance my follies. Why should I finance theirs?"
Kansas City voters spoke and itās our job to listen. This is a referendum in what we value. Kansas City voters said no public subsidies for private profits.
VOTE NO APRIL 2
Vote against a $2 billion handout to billionaire team owners. Vote against the biggest transfer of public resources to private enterprise in our regionās history. Vote for the people, vote for our community, vote for a better deal for Kansas City ā¼ļø
