After 6 years working as a school librarian, I’ll shortly be moving onwards and upwards, joining Leicestershire Libraries as Librarian. Telling students has been tough (tears shed) and I’ll be sad to say bye to so many wonderful colleagues. Excited to start a new chapter though

Surprised the Duke of Edinburgh students this evening by calling in to see them at their home for the night. It makes me appreciate just how lucky I was to grow up in the area. I mean - those views and the gorgeous countryside!

Have covid again - disappointed to be missing out lots of fun things at work but the up side is there’s lots of Christmas books and films to read/watch. Should stop the loneliness of isolation
