I cannot truly put into words the anger and sadness I feel about this absolute evil act that just took place. Charlie Kirk has been pronounced dead after being senselessly murdered by an assassin.

Whatever your opinions of him and his ideas, Charlie had a wife and two kids, never advocated for violence, and was killed for freely expressing his views. This should never happen in America, yet, sadly, our history is riddled with such political violence, which feels worse now than at any other point in my lifetime.

Political violence should never be tolerated. We need a reckoning in this country. We need prayer. We need sanity. We need God. Now more than ever.

Lord, have mercy on us. Praying for the Kirk family…I cannot imagine the horror engulfing them right now.
