@IterIntellectus “Screaming until they finally give up” is so rarely the experience. Many many parents (including myself) had kids on a schedule that resulted in them never crying to sleep or <5min in a non-distressed way. Us big families have other things to stew on.

@StephenFleming Yes on state schools but Ivies do very generous need based financial aid + you can argue some pedigree benefit— it’s every other private school in the country not worth it.
