1. The earliest inhabitants of Palestine, including the territory of Jerusalem, were Arabs, Hamites, Canaanites, and Jebusites. Canaanites and Jebusites existed long before the Jews (at least 2,000 years), and even before Judaism was revealed.

It has been verified by archaeological discoveries as well as biblical and Quranic records.

According to Arthur Koestler - a Jewish-born author, more than 80% of Jews now have no historical ties to Palestine. The vast majority of Jews today are descended from al-Khazar (Ashkenazi), an ancient Tatar-Turkish tribe that lived in the northern Caucasus (former Soviet territory) and converted to Judaism in the 8th century AD.

As a result, if Zionist Jews claim the right to return to their homeland, they should do it in the south of Russia rather than in Palestine.

From 1000 to 586 before Christ, the Jews dominated only a portion of Palestine (not the entire territory). Their sovereignty was destroyed, as was the rule of Assyria, the Kingdom of the Pharaohs, the Greeks, and the Romans, yet the ancient inhabitants of Palestine remained.

While the Muslim authority has been in power in Palestine for 1200 years (636-1917 AD), with the exception of a brief 90-year reign by the Crusaders.

2. The Quran clearly indicates that all prophets, including Israelites, are Muslims. They preached the same essential beliefs: God's Oneness, worship of that one God, avoidance of idolatry and sin, and belief in the Day of Resurrection or the Day of Judgement, as well as life after death. While Prophet Muhammad stated:

الأَنْبِيَاءُ إخْوَةٌ لِعَلاَّتٍ دِيْنُهُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَأُمَّهَاتُهُمْ شَتَّى
The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one. (Sahih al-Bukhari 3443)

Thus, Islam is the religion of all prophets, with Muhammad serving as the last prophet. Muhammad did not create Islam. He came with the Last Testament to complete and convey the teachings of Islam through the Quran and his own actions and sayings.
