If I knew about the specific cold card bug I would have zero incentive to warn everyone.

1. It’s hard enough to defend the city against corrupt governments and organized crime and random bad guys already.

2. Hardware wallet users walked outside the valiantly defended gates and bent over for the enemy.

3. Not only are you not helping the good guys, but you are deploying your cash to fund the enemy.

4. It’s dangerous for me to rush outside the city walls to rescue you. These people are professionals and well funded and I’m just a volunteer.

5. Reality is the best educator. How could I possibly overcome the enemy propaganda you should leave the defenses without some idiots falling in view of everyone.

Bitcoin core is our fortress against being back doored. Leave it and I’m willing to watch you sacrifice yourself for the greater good.
