Today is the first day of retirement. Had a nice cup of coffee when I woke up and went right back to bed. I could get used to this. And I never again have to cover a press conference where our governor is being an asshole.
The pecan branch that fell in the bee yard last night is huge. 2 foot diameter at the base and covered with ferns. Hives have smaller branches on them but were not breached. Think I’ll leave the bees alone till it warms up
Huge branch from 150 year old pecan tree fell on the bee yard tonight. Just missed the bee house and the car. The entire tree is leaning now and has to come down... but we were quite lucky
Enjoyed our first family meal at a sit down restaurant in two months. Tasty. But as we dined on the outdoor deck, I realized the dot over the “I” looks suspiciously like the coronavirus 🦠
This is my first Veterans Day without dad, who ended his tour of duty last month at the age of 85. He was a bad ass during two tours in Vietnam and is still my hero. My thanks to everyone who served our country in the armed forces.
Got a text from my ole radio bud Jason Taylor today letting me know Debbie and I made the big time: we’re on Google earth suited up to work the bees. Looks like we were hiding from the sun when the google camera drove past
Just wrapped up the recording of tomorrow’s Sunrise podcast featuring a one on one interview with Rick Wilson... the OG Of Never Trumpers. He’s the Rickest of the Ricks. Check it out in the morning.
I left a briefcase - more valuable than you can imagine - belonging to my boss, Marsellus Wallace, in the back of my @Uber and the driver realized it and returned it within minutes. And he didn't even open it. Thank you @Uber!
Been meaning to do this: Congrats to @RadioRicko and his new podcast and his return to the fray...couldn't stay in Colorado forever....

So in case you hadn’t heard, I’m doing a daily podcast on Florida Politics for Peter Schorsch, the brains behind https://t.co/fLkpTefuj8. You can find it at Apple or at https://t.co/oS8iwDbKtH
Just out of the Colorado mountains. Was enjoying roads in New Mexico without thousand foot cliffs when some clown tried to pull into my lane before he finished passing. Barely avoided a high-speed collision. Of course the clown car had Florida tags.
