@LayerZero_Labs and @StargateFinance integration with @radixdlt is well underway according to @PiersRidyard.

It seems that #Radix is getting ready for 2024.

Imagine the possibilities of bridging your assets over from #Ethereum into one of the most secure, user friendly environments that you can imagine.

I expect the integration to be completed after #MFA wallet feature which will make holding and managing $ETH, $USDC, $USDT etc. even easier and safer.

"Good morning everyone - just wanted to post a quick update on the meeting we had with the LayerZero team last week. In attendance was the founders and senior technical leads at LayerZero, as well as the RDX Works CTO (Russ), CPO (Matt), myself and Omar.

During the course of an intense two days we were able to hammer out the main implementation path for Radix to be integrated into the LayerZero stack, agree key milestones, and provide sufficient technical context on both sides for implementation work to get started.

We also met with the Stargate team, and discussed both the coming Stargate v2, and the specific pathways to getting Stargate up and running on Radix. For those who don’t know, Stargate is the world’s leading trustless bridge between a very large number of ecosystems (https://t.co/76159wEGNK), and integrate the LayerZero Ominichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard, which USDC and USDT, as well as many other tokens, are either in the process of adopting or have already adopted: https://t.co/Os3Q72ktzw

I am particularly excited about Stargate v2 as it will provide not just a way for people to seamlessly bridge their assets from Ethereum to Radix, provide a simple pathway for leading stable coins to be brought onto Radix, but also connect the 44+ other ecosystems that Stargate and LayerZero are already integrated with for bridging to and from Radix as well.

I am happy to report that the work has already commenced this week in resource planning and scoping, as well as moving to the next stage of VM validation with LayerZero’s preferred audit partners.

Due to the criticality of security for interchain messaging, and the non-EVM nature of the Radix platform, the build/audit/integration path is expected to take some time. Both the RDX team and the LayerZero team will be working closely together over the coming months to put as many of the work tracks as possible in parallel, and get both trustless interchain messaging, and ultimately, trustless bridging via Stargate, on the Radix network as quickly as possible.

This is going to take some time as it is both a complex integration, and it has to be done very carefully to ensure the best possible security. Ultimately, this is where we expect billions of dollars to be able to flow between Radix and the rest of the crypto sphere, so both teams are approaching this with the care it deserves.

Making sure the LayerZero and Stargate integrations happen as quickly and smoothly as possible are now the RDX core tech teams P1 priority, as we keenly feel the friction not having trustless bridging on Radix creates for users. Onwards and upwards!"
