H/T to @nishantkumar07 for the performance table.
A guy left his firm to run his own trading shop.
He kept all the upside, ditched the corporate nonsense, became his own boss.
And after a year and a half, his honest conclusion is kind of brutal:
- Capital is easy "if you can make PnL, everyone's begging you to take their money"
- The hard part is the tech and legal infrastructure the firm used to handle
- He can't get the low-latency feeds or tight hedging deals anymore
- His first-year PnL was impressive, but it's getting harder to grow
His warning: it's only a matter of time before a faster firm eats your lunch
@PrometheusCHT We all die in the end, and 10 people will really care, and 30 people might care abit, and nobody else will~

Watching my portfolio swing sometimes by more than 5 figures in a day has been tough.
But there is one rule you have to follow as an algorithmic trader.

@ZenomTrader Quick question - how do you go about fully-automated trading with Futures Prop Firms? Most of them are quite restrictive from what I've been researching?
The ANIMAL who so violently killed the beautiful young lady from Ukraine, who came to America searching for peace and safety, should be given a “Quick” (there is no doubt!) Trial, and only awarded THE DEATH PENALTY. There can be no other option!!! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
