Today at the conference of Australian Science Communicators, a panel—How can scientists in the media benefit the public good?—was hosted by Michael Hopkin of @ConversationAU. Panelists discussed the 'atomised' nature of the media landscape and a movement towards 'solutions journalism'. Panelists: Amanda Rider of @NatureCustom, @RamuSapkota of @NepaliTimes, and science journalist @WilsondaSilva.
