W charakterze ciekawostki.
O ile w przypadku F/A/EF-18, Rafale czy AV-8B aparat mogłem włożyć praktycznie wszędzie gdzie chciałem, to w przypadku F-35B istnieje cały szereg restrykcji i ograniczeń. O nich więcej w następnym poście, a poniżej zdjęcia F-35B Royal Navy (legalne 😉) z pokładu lotniskowca HMS Prince of Wales.
In the early hours of this morning, I directed our Armed Forces to intercept a shadow fleet oil tanker attempting to pass through the English Channel.
This successful operation delivers yet another blow to Russia and reminds those fueling Putin's war in Ukraine that we will not let them hide.
I want to thank those involved, including our Armed Forces and law enforcement officers who keep this country safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Russians Are Reportedly Driving Tanks to Ukrainian Forces and Selling Them
Entire Russian tank crews — including those operating modern T-72B3s and even T-90Ms — are allegedly driving their vehicles directly to Ukrainian positions and handing them over for money. They are not simply surrendering; they are reportedly selling the tanks. Some crews even ask for a “bulk discount rate” when delivering several vehicles at once.
Ukrainian soldiers say that the Russians pull up, climb out with their hands raised, and immediately start negotiating: “Take the tank, just let us leave safely.” Some also request guarantees that they will not be sent back to Russia after a prisoner exchange.

🇺🇸🇵🇱 Poland is quietly becoming the most armed country in Europe, and the U.S. is writing the checks.
Another $4 billion in military financing just landed, bringing the total American credit line to $20 billion.
Poland already became the first eastern NATO ally to fly F-35s. Now it's ordering two more squadrons on top of that.
Washington is bankrolling the most aggressive military buildup in Polish history, deliberately, knowing Russia is watching every delivery.
The numbers are becoming difficult to ignore.
Every new package makes Poland look less like a frontline state and more like a major military power in its own right.

This week, at Helsing’s invitation, I was in southern Germany, where I had the opportunity to visit the secret facility where the HX-2 loitering munitions for Ukraine and other countries are manufactured, while the CA-1 Europa and other topics were also on the agenda.
I can’t say much about my visit, except that it was fascinating and informative, and I wanted to let you know, as the visit was really very important for my reporting on Ukraine and explains why I haven't been really active recently.
With a bit of luck, I’ll be able to share a bit more about Ukraine next week.

"Husarze" - bo tak te maszyny ochrzczono w Siłach Powietrznych - wystartują z lotniska w Łasku i polecą do Krakowa, Gdańska i Warszawy. Maszyny zniżą się nad miastami, aby "Polacy mogli zapoznać się z naszym najnowocześniejszym sprzętem" - wyjaśnił wiceszef MON Cezary Tomczyk.

It is very difficult for me to write posts like this. All my life I worked and took care of my family myself. Asking for help never comes easy, and honestly, it feels humiliating. But my situation is what it is, and without support it becomes harder and harder to keep moving forward.
If even a small number of people who read my posts could contribute a few dollars, it would make a real difference for my family. Small donations add up and help us get through another week.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us before. Thank you to those who understand what my family has been through. Your kindness means far more than the money itself.
Please do not send anything if you are struggling yourself. And please do not send anything from Ukraine — help those around you who may need it even more.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and humanity.

Putin has reportedly gone into panic mode and urgently summoned everyone to the Kremlin. Chaos is spreading across Russia.
According to sources, the dictator is in a state of genuine hysteria. He urgently called together everyone still around him—generals, security officials, and ministers. The meeting was reportedly filled with tense silence, broken only by Putin's occasional outbursts.
Ukrainian missiles and drones have carried out large-scale strikes deep inside Russian territory. Explosions were reported far from the front lines. Military facilities near Moscow, logistics hubs and warehouses in central Russia, as well as airfields used for launching attacks against Ukraine, were among the reported targets.
Many Russians are said to be shocked by the scale of the attacks. Emergency services struggle to deal with fires in one location before new strikes are reported elsewhere. Cities that only yesterday considered themselves completely safe are now waking up to explosions and air-raid sirens.
What the EU Did to Poland and the Baltics
I think the most underreported story in global economics is what European integration has done to the countries that were once the Soviet Union’s western margin.
In 2004, Poland joined the European Union. Its unemployment rate was around 20 percent. It was a middle-income country with serious structural problems and a GDP that reflected the grey inheritance of central planning.
Twenty years later, its GDP has passed one trillion dollars, having roughly tripled between accession and 2020 alone.
A new study from the Polish Economic Institute found that Poland’s economy is 42 percent larger than it would have been had it not joined the EU.
