आज की खबर सिर्फ़ यह नहीं कि चुनाव आयुक्तों में SIR को लेकर गंभीर असहमति थी।

बड़ा सवाल यह है कि अगर दोनों चुनाव आयुक्त इन फैसलों को गलत या गैरकानूनी मानते थे, तो उन्हें रोकने के लिए क्या किया? क्या चुपचाप असहमति दर्ज करना पर्याप्त था, या यह भी जवाबदेही का सवाल है?

इस सवाल का पूरा सच अभी सामने आना बाकी है।
