Still finding it difficult to get over the fact that we just lost "Voice of #IndianFootball ". No one in our country better chronicled Indian Football than him
Here's a thread of few of my favourite videos of @NovyKapadia doing what he does best, talking Football.

East Bengal FC's men's football team created history by winning the Indian Super League 2025–26 title after a dramatic 2-1 comeback win over Inter Kashi FC in Kolkata. It marked East Bengal’s first national top-flight league title in 22 years, since winning the National Football League in 2003–04.
East Bengal FC Women also won the Indian Women's League 2025–26 title last week, securing back-to-back championships in the top tier of Indian women’s football.
#EastBengal last won the league 22 years ago, #Arsenal last won the league 22 years ago. This year, I turn 44. Not sure whether to call it coincidence, nostalgia or a reminder of how much life can happen in 22 years… but somehow, after everything, we’re all here again

Deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Kushal Das, the former General Secretary of the All India Football Federation (AIFF). A seasoned administrator, his decade-long tenure was instrumental in professionalizing Indian football and successfully hosting the historic 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Beyond the boardroom, his commitment to youth development and building a modern roadmap for the sport leaves a lasting legacy. During this time of immense grief, my heartfelt condolences are with his family and the football fraternity he served with such distinction. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Young Sanfida Nongrum scoring on her senior debut for the India women’s national football team in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup.
It was also India’s first goal in the tournament in 23 years.
But the story behind the goal is just as inspiring.
Across the Northeast, in places like Manipur, Mizoram and Meghalaya, football is not just a sport. It’s part of everyday life. Girls grow up playing freely, supported by families and communities.
That ecosystem deserves far more recognition.
Because sometimes the future of a nation’s sport begins far from the biggest stadiums.
