🤩Thrilled by this review🙏“The exhibition is a masterclass of storytelling and planning – clear narrative, simple text, effective use of objects, graphics, interactives and digital media and one that all curators planning a major exhibition should visit.”

Grateful to modern medicine? Tell us how antibiotics have helped you and your family, and support our campaign to keep antibiotics working. Your story and photo could be up in lights at #PiccadillyCircus in London during #WAAW25.

Huge credit to my brilliant colleague @kategrailey for putting such a positive, solutions-focused event together, whilst also delivering a billboard in Times Square!
Our event content served as a reminder that real progress has been made since the last United Nations High-Level Meeting on AMR: progress the Fleming Initiative and our global partners are building on.
Ahead of the UN High-Level Meeting on AMR, Lord Darzi calls on world leaders to set a bold new target: by 2030 no antibiotic should be prescribed without a proper diagnosis that identifies the underlying cause as bacterial infection.

Lord Darzi says this “will require unprecedented co-operation, significant investment in diagnostic technologies and a fundamental shift in prescribing practices worldwide, including affordable diagnostics and support from richer countries for poorer ones"

The Fleming Initiative has achieved so much in the past 12 months, but there’s more work to be done in our global fight against antimicrobial resistance.
