The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) which is a consortium of 13 political and religious parties and has its government in Pakistan has approved two bills, the Election Commission Act (Amendment) and Army Act (Amendment) from the national assembly and the Senate of Pakistan while the federal cabinet had already approved them. The passage of these bills (Amendments) and the bills are already in contrast to established universal democratic norms and values and would ok only curb the political freedom and basic human rights. These are based on bad intentions to legitimise the draconian military's sole proprietorship of the country.
These amendments are against the democratic values. It's highly undemocratic and deserves condemnation in strongest form from all aspects. PDM has actually passed these Bills to take away the basic rights of the opposition and civilians and put a noose in their necks but perhaps all the PDM parties have forgotten that they are in power today so they are not harmed by these amendments. However, with these paralysing amendments, a noose can be put in their own necks and this noose of amendments will witch-hunt them. They will then repent of their puppetry deeds. PDM by making the amendments will never be able to escape from this noose. It is like a deep grave which the PDM has dug for others but it will get doomed and buried alive in the same grave. The consequences would be unbearable.
