@big_msudawg @evanscbb But apparently you don’t want to see your conference mates fail. This was an anit SEC debate. At no point did I say State specifically didn’t deserve to be in (but in any other conference yall, KY, OU, TN, etc might not get in) yet here you come to “educate” me.

@big_msudawg @evanscbb My original argument was not that they necessarily didn’t deserve to be in. It was that they get preferential treatment which leads to more opportunities. I will agree, if I want less remaining, people have to beat them.

One of these teams is a postseason team. The others are not. Which conference is each in and which should belong?

@xbot1909 @evanscbb The same reason other teams get punished for doing all they can with what schedule and conference they belong to but aren’t in the almighty SEC. Parity is what makes baseball great. Some folks are scared of it.

@xbot1909 @evanscbb Again. I can get behind the top 5-6 from ANY conference being considered, but when you have teams that finish at or below .500 and outside of even the top 10 in their league make the field, the goalposts are nowhere near the same for everyone.

@kumar_patel69 @evanscbb But as far as “mostly unwarranted”, other than the patch on the jerseys, if you said Team A finished 13-17 in their conference which was good for 13th out of a 16 team league, what metric are they warranted a postseason invite? If team A is in any other conference……🤷🏼
