Demands:Safe, free & legal abortion on demand. Complete rights with regards contraception. Adequate benefit system & comp sex ed 💜✊🏻 7.9.19 #rallyforchoice
Our friends and colleagues at @All4Choice and @a4cderry are stepping up where the powers that be have failed.
If you need an abortion or know someone who does, get in touch. You do not have to go to England.
We are announcing we will openly facilitate women & pregnant people’s access to telemedicine in NI with our partners @abortionpil@WomenHelpOrg until @niogov & @healthdpt decide to end their continued breach of human rights. #TelemedicineNow4NI#stayhome https://t.co/nx8xoZidOw
Virtual march for Choice for #ARCMarch20 It's not good enough that people still have to travel, the waiting period remains nonsense, and we need proper services commissioned in the North. We deserve #CareAtHome

NUS-USI President @robertmurtagh1 NUS Women's Officer @Rachelagain and Project Choice chair @Hamsavani_ have released a statement urging @sinnfeinireland not to stand with the DUP on abortion restriction.

“I was told I would have to take a ferry, take the pill in the clinic in the morning, then take the other pill and then get the ferry home..
What is happening to women in Northern Ireland is inhumane.. [this] is not what should be happening in 2020.”

Dereliction of duty by @BrandonLewis
Your office was duty bound to bring in these services by 31st March.
Instead on 6th April it's still not done and you insist we travel by ferry in the midst of a pandemic. This violates CEDAW and just basic human decency.
The @NIOgov is repeatedly, and regularly, tweeting that abortion services are available in England.
Services are available by taking an 8 hour ferry, having no hotel or cafe to go to, treatment at one of the 75% of clinics still open, then an 8 hour ferry back.
For those needing our service, please be reassured that we have measures in place to be operational during lockdown. Working remotely, we now provide one to one appointments over the phone.
Info & Support line will continue to be open every Mon&Thurs, 6pm-8pm

Hi folks, this account hasn't been active in some months - just wanted to let you all know that I was just alerted to the fact that we seemed to be following Gl***er - I wasn't aware and it's rectified now!
We knew the 3 day wait would be a problem. It is. The 12 week limit is proving a really big issue. A rigid timelimit that's too early. Please don't repeat this mistake in NI. And 14 weeks is hardly better.
Gestation limits limit care. Full stop.
As well having regional groups here we have Naomi from @All4Choice discussing the incredible work and achievements of the activists in Northern Ireland. The two pivotal moments of the @RallyforChoice and the 21st October have been emphasised #NowForNI
Some more pictures from our 8th Annual March for Choice on the 28th September. Thank you all so much for coming. We need to keep the pressure on so no one is left behind in our abortion laws #ARCMarch19
