कल 28 सितंबर को वर्धा के महात्मा गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हिंदी विश्वविद्यालय के प्रशासन के विरोध में छात्रों की मांगें मान्य करवाने के लिए सम्यक विद्यार्थी आंदोलन की ओर से हो रहे "शिक्षण अधिकार बचाव मोर्चा" में मै शामिल होऊंगा।

वर्धा के महात्मा गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हिंदी विश्वविद्यालय में ब्राह्मणवादी और मनुवादी प्रशासन के खिलाफ बेहतर मेस सुविधा, स्वच्छ पीने का पानी, बंद किए गए कोर्सेस फिर से शुरू किए जाएं और जो सुविधाएं दस साल पहले मंजूर की गई थीं, वे विद्यार्थियों को दी जाएं। यह छात्रों के हक और न्यायपूर्ण मांगें थीं। लेकिन इसका जवाब प्रशासन ने दलित-बहुजन समाज से आने वाले 6 छात्रों के ऊपर FIR दर्ज करके और उन्हें विश्वविद्यालय में प्रवेशबंदी कर दी गई।

इसके खिलाफ हमने 10 सितंबर को वर्धा में आंदोलन किया और छात्रों पर दर्ज FIR वापस लेने, छात्रों के विश्वविद्यालय में प्रवेशबंदी का निर्णय वापस लेने और अन्य छात्रों की मांगें पुरी करने के लिए 15 दिन का अल्टीमेटम विश्वविद्यालय को दिया था। विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने समय पर मांगें पुरी नहीं की हैं।

सम्यक विद्यार्थी आंदोलन की ओर से कल 28 सितंबर को "शिक्षण अधिकार बचाव मोर्चा" निकाला जा रहा है। मैं इसमें शामिल हो रहा हूं।

अब हम वर्धा विश्वविद्यालय के कुलगुरु से सीधा जवाब मांगेंगे। अब उन्हें मांगें मान्य करनी ही होंगी। जब तक विद्यार्थियों की मांगें मान्य नहीं होतीं, तब तक हम लड़ते रहेंगे।

For speaking up, marginalised students were rusticated!

The Brahminwadi and Manuwadi administration of the Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwa Vidyalaya Wardha punished 6 students, belonging to marginalised castes.

Their crime?
The students were demanding better mess reforms and better hostel living conditions and questioning severe administrative neglect.

But the Brahminwadi and administration of the Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwa Vidyalaya Wardha didn’t listen, it retaliated! The administration “rewarded” the students for speaking up with FIRs and rustication from the very hostels where they demanded basic dignity and accountability.

Since September 3, these 6 students have been sitting outside the university premises.

VBA and its students’ wing Samyak Vidyarti Andolan stand firmly with these students. Their voices deserve to be heard, not punished. We stand by them in their fight and provide them with all necessary legal support to challenge this blatant intimidation and Brahminwadi and Manuwadi repression.

Six Dalit and OBC students protesting at Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University (MGAHV) in Wardha have been barred from entering the university campus, days after some of them were named in FIRs.

The move has led to allegations that the university administration is trying to “criminalise” the ongoing protest. The university, however, said the restriction was an interim disciplinary measure pending an independent inquiry and was necessary to protect academic and administrative functioning.

Students Allege Targeting

The protest has been continuing since July 8 over several demands. Those barred from the campus include research scholars Niranjan Oberoi and Rajesh Kumar Yadav, both from the OBC community, and Ram Chandra, who is from the Scheduled Caste community.

Students Rahul Kumar Thakur (OBC), Rakesh Ahirwar (SC) and Shivpujan Pasi (SC) have also been barred.

The students alleged that a September 1 notice described them as a threat to the campus environment even though the FIRs against some of them are still under investigation.

विवेक मिश्रा को 3 दिन बाद वर्धा के चिकित्सकों ने नागपुर रेफर कर दिया है। यूनिवर्सिटी प्रशासन इतना असंवेदनशील हो गया है कि उसने निलंबन के खिलाफ लड़ रहे छात्र को निष्कासित भी कर दिया। MGAHV वर्धा में छात्रों के साथ जुल्म जारी है। यह विश्वविद्यालय छात्रों के शोषण का गढ़ बन गया है।
