$GEV GE Vernova CEO on their business:
"We're generating 25% of the world's electricity every day. It's about 50% of this country, the U.S.'s electricity every day. Over 7,000 gas turbines, over 59,000 wind turbines, over 60 nuclear plants and the associated electrical equipment attached to that. We've got an $87 billion services backlog that will generate by 2027, about $20 billion of services revenue across our services businesses"
If you are retired at a normal age, and have a fully paid off house
Having $30,000 in annual dividend income on top of that is more than enough for most Americans
Putting the $MSFT revenue beat into perspective.
They exceeded June estimates by $2.6B.
The average beat over the past 11 quarters was $0.9B.
That's a 3.4 standard deviation beat.
Our culture has persuaded young adults in their 20s and 30s that:
1. Homeownership is out of reach.
2. Raising children is financially impossible.
3. Marriage is a gamble not worth taking.
Reject these falsehoods. Create the life you're told is unattainable.
There appears to be some confusion over the $NVDA earnings number.
Basically: Excluding the $4.5 billion H20 chip charge, it was an earnings beat. Including the impact of that charge, it was a miss.
Seems like Wall Street prefers to exclude that charge. Stock up 4% after hours
$NVDA should be trading higher than its current up 3% in after-hours.
If you back out the impact of the curbs, YoY revenue growth in April would have been 79% (reported 69%). Guide for July would have been 76% (actual guide with curbs 50%).
That fractional decline of revenue growth quarter over quarter off of a much bigger base is impressive, and the latest evidence that the company's growth will be higher for longer.
@WesternDecline_@elonmusk 🔥CHINA (& other foreign donors) laundering money through ACTBLUE is something alleged often.
James O'Keefe is reputable.
Worth an INVESTIGATION?
