GOT IT DONE IN HOURS !!!

Students of Sarvodaya Inter College, Kishanpur in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur started a protest demanding basic facilities such as adequate fans in classrooms, safe drinking water, better desks, wiring repairs and improved sanitation.

Following the protest, the school administration agreed to the students’ major demands. As per the written assurance, every classroom will get four fans, an RO water cooler will be installed, electrical wiring will be repaired, new desks will be provided and other pending infrastructure issues will also be addressed.

This is an example of students peacefully raising issues related to basic educational infrastructure and securing concrete action from the authorities.

His name is Bharath Banait

And he came from Nagpur to support the student protest.

He is a 27 year old, MCom graduate.

When he stood up to police beating him senselessly and said “maroo sir”, he showed the world what courage looks like!

This is India, land of Mahatma Gandhi.

And the country’s population today consists of 27 percent youth…roughly 380 million. That is exactly the population of India during Independence struggle against the Britishers!

Do you know what the young protesters of this generation have that people fighting for Independence didn’t have? Technology.

It wasn’t just 20,000 people yesterday at the March. They were armed with 20,000 mobile phones and at least 40,000 social media accounts on various platforms.

They recorded history as it unfolded, while participating in the protest.

Bharath is not alone.
