@stanislavfort Those are all claims that the author is making about the source, so if they haven’t done sufficient diligence on a source to support such claims, they should not cite it in the first place. Simple as that.

@zdeborova @eiszett That’s literally the purpose of a citation, though. It’s the author representing that their own claims are based on or supported by the cited work. If the author never even read that cited work, they are making a false representation (i.e., lying).

Technically still “art design” I guess but seems fine.
