have you ever poured from a box of Raisin Bran straight into your hand and you just keep getting bran flakes and bran flakes and your hand is overflowing but you’re still waiting for that first delicious raisin? this is what it feels like to scroll through twitter
For the record, I was NOT saying that all three of these are why I am keeping Twitter. I was in fact saying that if my Theological minded friends stopped posting Theological stuff (if only there was a correlation!) I would delete Twitter
I don’t get NFTs and I don’t play Wordle.
The validity of one point does not reduce the validity of another.
“I’m hungry.”
“Well, I have been fasting and haven’t eaten anything in the last 36 hours.”
“Ok, I’m still hungry. But thanks for making me feel bad about it.”
TL;DR
H*ckin love people. Do it truthfully and with grace and don’t fall into the trap of “yeah, I’m looking at you…” and look at yourself first before pointing the finger…even if it’s the pinky finger
I find it difficult to look at church leaders who go onto social media (Like Twitter) and just virtually yell at the people. There are a whole plethora of views out there that don’t jive with Christianity. Sure, I get that some people have really out there Theology…but c’mon.
I realize I am beginning to ramble so I should wrap this thread up.
Grace without Truth is useless
Truth without Grace is cruelty
You need both to truly reach people for the Gospel.
