Freed Palestinian Prisoner Riyad Al-Ammour Dies in Exile After Years of Medical Neglect in Israeli Prisons.

Riyad Al-Ammour, from the town of Tuqu’ in Bethlehem, has died in Egypt after a steady deterioration in his health. His condition was a direct result of the systematic medical neglect he endured during his years in Israeli jails.

Although freed in the 2024 prisoner exchange deal, Al-Ammour was forced into exile, where he spent his remaining days before succumbing to his illness.
