Not to pick on individuals, but as someone who also studied polsci, I feel like it's a bad reflection on polsci to treat the entire challenge of development economics as easily solvable by some bureaucrats declaring that there is now a functioning social democracy

The British public are pretty clear on how they see those involved in the recent riots.

"Thugs", "Rioters", "Racist", and "Far-right" are words a majority of Brits would use.

"People with legitimate concerns" is chosen by just 16%, while the "far-left" is picked by just 7%.
