Carney has unveiled a new council to combat antisemitism in Canada. The lineup includes a former Liberal minister who is a Muslim, a DEI executive who is also Muslim, a progressive lawyer interested in social justice issues who represented pro-Palestinian encampment activists, an LGBT activist, and an Olympic speed skater.
Only one member is Jewish: Senator Marc Gold, has a long public record in Jewish communal and pro-Israel advocacy.
Seems like expertise in antisemitism was considered optional. If the goal was to reassure Jewish Canadians, this is a bizarre way to go about it.

🤷🏻♀️Well
At least CBC didn’t send Findlay a fake invitation to a fake TV show that was going to “celebrate her service” as an MP for Surrey & Minister of National Revenue for Prime Minister Harper
And then take her phone away & harangue her with unexpected accusations
Improving?
Is this a joke??
Mark Carney just used the Jewish community to announce a new council; Ministerial Advisory Council on Rights, Equality, and Inclusion to be chaired by the Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture.
It has nothing to do with the Jewish community, nor does it address the terrorist cheerleaders freely walking and operating in Canada and the targeting of Jewish communities, businesses, schools and synagogues.
The Council includes the ex Liberal MP Omar Alghabra ffs 🤦🏼
It will be chaired by the previous Minister of Mass Immigration who brought these people into Canada and millions of others without background checks.
WTAF ⁉️
The David Eby NDP unleashed an anti racism plan & at the same time bans white males who prefer having sex with females than males from applying to govt jobs. This is true progress. Between this & Mark Carney putting Omar on his masquerade antisemitism council sums up Canada.
"Anyways, I'm real sorry you Jews had to put up with this shit. Maybe together we can deal with the rotted, putrid husks that are our contemporary universities. They turned into hate factories while weren't watching and they need to pay for what they've done."
"I mean, look at them. They're either functionally retarded hippie grandmothers or literal, baying jihadists. Fuck all of them straight to hell and God bless Canada."
If Mark Carney wasn't a colossal pussy, he would say "there's no Gazan genocide, there's never been a Gazan genocide, and the purveyors of this obvious lie are destroying this country, Canada, before our eyes."
Toronto Police have arrested and charged five individuals connected to the vile antisemitic imagery portraying Jewish people as sub-human at a Bathurst and Sheppard protest in March.
Today's arrests send a strong message: offenders will be held accountable.
We commend the Toronto Police Service and the Counter-Terrorism Security Unit for taking action to protect our community. As Chief Demkiw stated, 'No matter how long it takes, we will root it out.' Now we must build on that momentum and ensure that the fight against antisemitism and extremism remains a priority for every level of government.
But these charges alone cannot address the broader crisis confronting Toronto and communities across Canada. Jewish communities continue to face threats, harassment, intimidation, and violence.
Tonight, Canadians will hear from the Prime Minister. His address should serve as a call to action for governments at all levels, law enforcement agencies, public institutions, and Canadians from all walks of life.
BC Conservative leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay responds to NDP attacks in a CBC interview this morning.
"We are not the extremists. They are the extremists. They're ideological extremists and they have had very radical policies that have hurt British Columbians."
Let's be honest: is anyone really surprised we're in a recession? Tariffs aside, this guy's "exceptional resumé" includes being the central banker for various countries in exceptionally hard times before being the financial advisor to Justin Trudeau.
