Just as in Gaza, the US is lifting the constraints on how Israel can use American bombs. As a result, Israel uses 2,000lb bombs to strike densely populated areas in Tehran.
So, we are now seeing Gaza-style images of civilians and children being killed en masse in Iran.
What Julia Phillips learned about writing from fairy tales: “Close the circle—even if your characters suffer, your readers will remember it.”

The Emotional Lives of Animals and Why They Matter
Detailed comparative research clearly shows that diverse animals are sentient and have rich and deep emotional lives. In the past 20 years, research in this field has exploded.

@RobMorrow_ Joel (@RobMorrow_) turns to Maggie (@JanineTurner) & says, "When I was a kid I thought nothing was real, and that if you turn your head fast enough you catch God changing the scenery. Still have that feeling, a sense there's a whole other reality: real reality that we can't see".
@RobMorrow_ Just replayed your last Northern Exposure episode here today.
Adam showing up in the middle of nowhere as Gustov the Gatekeeper was a nice touch.
@Unpop_Science@pete_ar_fryn@mbolotnikova@GeorgeMonbiot Thanks.
All y'all have to do is to look at Media pages of animal farmers.
They're constantly posting pics/video clips of cropping massive fields for animal feed, which they then call "grass" (the one word which magically vanishes their real GHG emissions with environmentalists).
@julie_dutto@nagoyo07 Even more cruel than short-chained 24/7.
Electric wires/plates buzzing at 2,500 volts just above them so that when they try to stand they're forced to arch their backs to defecate/urinate in gutters dug behind concrete stalls shorter than their body size.

@Unpop_Science@pete_ar_fryn@mbolotnikova@GeorgeMonbiot Average animal farm = ~300 acres, which must be intensively farmed 6 months of the year; other 6 months supplemented with store-bought soy/beet pellet feed shipped from Utah, razed Amazon, etc.
(But Y'all keep calculating GHG emissions of animals grazing "grass", now, you hear.)
@Unpop_Science@pete_ar_fryn@mbolotnikova@GeorgeMonbiot The other 50% of animal feed also comes from crops.

(Ryegrass, chicory, white/red clover, etc., are crops, not grass growing naturally out there.)
