Same old story, isn't it? The opposition make us work hard to score and we seem to gift them the opportunities to do the same.

The usual grifters on here are now saying how we were unlucky to draw, that the performance was good and the change in formation was the reason behind it. Personally, I (@JRad137) didn't see anything too different. Šeško was poor until he scored and then considerably better. How much of that is the system vs self belief?

The players being back from injury was great to see and Lacey was great in his cameo. Would've liked to have seen him get a run out against Wolves. Almost the perfect game for him.

We will likely hear who the interim is before the Brighton game so hopefully there'll be a little less rustiness for the city game and beyond. Would be a pleasant change to get the new manager bounce in our favour for a change.

What the Amorim and ETH appointments have shown me is that you need to have some experience of managing the biggest clubs to take on the Utd job. Yes, you still need a play style and philosophy compatible with the club but unless you have that experience you have no chance.

So basically the new manager needs to tick the following boxes:

- play attacking entertaining football
- play the youth
- win right away regardless of the mess in the rest of the club

Basically a unicorn manager who sadly no longer exists in modern football.

ALL things considered, why is everyone going on like we are in some relegation battle and the worst team in the PL? Like what the actual fuck?
We are 5th, in the Champions League spot, perfectly on track for this seasons main goal of qualifying for Europe.
We've got 7 starters out and squad players out and yet we are STILL on track.

We have all those players coming back and can absolutely storm the second half of the season. Juat cheer the fuck up you depressing bunch. Stop listening to the crappy content creators and journos trying to make EVERYTHING a crisis.

I dont blame Ruben for being pissed off. He's helped us get up to 5th, he's adapting and working with a very very thin squad full of youngsters and players still getting used to the PL. We've got some quality in Bruno, DeLigt, Cunha, Mbeumo, Shaw etc but how many times have they ALL been on the pitch together? 5 or 6 games?

I hope INEOS get him 1 or 2 players in this January as we need *some* reinforcements - regardless who the manager is. INEOS NEED Europe and we need a few more players to help achieve that. No worldies, a couple of Weghorst's would probably do the trick and help but god gibe him something to work with.

Anyhow, I'm blocking everyone instantly now talking rubbish. Not interested at all in negative discourse, moaners or people that bring, shitty out-of-context arguments to the table.

I'm positive, I'm optimistic, I think Ruben really is building something and I'm glad he's coming out fighting.

11 games in we are within a couple of points of the UCL places, we'd all have taken that at the start of the season

New signings have settled in well & others players are stepping up, there's a team spirit developing that we haven't seen in a few years

A point against a rejuvenated Forest in Dyche's first home game in the league, is far from a bad result. The goals conceded were awful, so we all have every right to be disappointed. Would have liked to see the front 3 be a bit more influential on the game too.

But we dust ourselves off and time to put things right next week because, "Lads, it's Spurs."

A win over Brighton & Looking Ahead to Forrest
