Earlier we used to see cops at important junctions assisting traffic. This menace wouldnt happen then.
These days, cops are stationed at strategic (hide-out) points ONLY to collect fines.

@pravithnair @BMTC_BENGALURU The whole ETM saga is technology taking us backwards. In no other part of the world would a public transport halt mid-route just to issue tickets before crossing next fare stage.
Right thing to do would be allow free/discounted travel in lieu of dept's inefficiency.
