Got a chance to attend the Radio Astronomy Winter School (RAWS) conducted jointly by @IUCAApune and @NCRA_Outreach this year...it was an unforgettably rich learning experience, under the guidance of eminent people who never failed to teach me a lesson in humility!

#NCRA and @IUCAAstro organized a special visit to GMRT for #RAWS 2023 participants. Guided by GMRT engineers and professors from both IUCAA and NCRA, the tour covered the C03 antenna, receiver room, and control room, offering a rich learning experience.

Unveiling the new logo of The Astronomy Club!

Designed by the co-convener of the club, @sanatanjaminy, the logo features the telescope standing on a quarter lit moon that is surrounded by the 'appendages' of saturn.

Team, behind the Foundation Day demos, that explained concepts like sunspots and Fraunhofer lines to students from grades 4 to 12 and who answered questions like what exactly went wrong with Kalpana Chawla's space mission with the help of animations! It was a lot of fun!
