Betrayal of Faith: TVK Govt Favors Encroachers of ₹25,000 Cr Temple Land in Karur!

In a single day, 3,084 acres of 4 major temples were removed from the prohibited list, effectively handing over temple assets to private occupants. Govt's '1963 Inam Act' defense is hollow. If these were lawfully private pattas, why were they ever in the temple prohibitory module in the first place?

The hypocrisy? 500 acres of Vennaimalai temple land remain under powerful encroachers (27 officers, 49 industrialists) despite Court orders since 2019. HC rightly noted: "Poor deity has no voting right. Mighty encroachers have valuable votes." This isn't admin correction, it's electoral expediency.

Very important Development today regarding Tamil Nadu Temples!

Many of you are aware that the @tnhrcedept -an unwelcome encroacher in Hindu Temples - charges 12% of the annual income of Temples as "Administrative Fees" for their useless "services".

The 12% collected from all temples are credited to a Fund called "The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Administration Fund" created under Section 96 of the TN HR&CE Act, 1959.

This account is administered by the Commissioner of the @tnhrcedept - He can take money from this account only to defray the expenses of this Department - the running expenses of the Department including salaries and benefits of its officials.

This fund CANNOT be used for any other purposes.

During the DMK regime between May 2021 and April 2026, the various Commissioners including the current Secretary of Religious Endowments Department @kgbias misused the Administration Fund for purposes other than those allowed by LAW.

In Writ Petition (MD) No. 34090 of 2025 Hon'ble Division Bench of the Madras High Court CLARIFIED and laid down the law regarding usage of the funds in the said Administration Fund.

It can be only for repaying the Government the sums paid by the Government under sub-section 4 of Section 92 of the TN HR&CE Act, 1959 - that is only for reimbursement of Department Expenses.

Government under Hon'ble @CMOTamilnadu should ensure all such misappropriation of the Administration Fund should be returned to the Fund.

Hon'ble @CMOTamilnadu and @RameshOffcl should announce in the Legislative Assembly that the Administration Fees charged on Temples will be reduced to 4% since Govt is charging 4 times more than the actual expenditure of the Department.

Another shameless refusal from the Public Information Officer (Ex) of the @tnhrcedept Ms. Vanmathi.

She has been promoted to the post of Additional Commissioner from the post of Joint Commissioner. She to WAS a good officer. She was victimized by a former Commissioner of the Department - one Dhanapal who was unceremoniously ousted from his post by former Chief Minister J Jayalalitha.
Vanmathi was under suspension only due to victimization by that Commissioner.

That's past history and she is now an Additional Commissioner and I wish her well.

It appears Madam forgot to post a (shameless and legally unsustainable refusal of information) to me. Almost a month after she signed (09.0 6.2026) this refusal of information, it is sent to me on 06.07.2026 and I received it today.

These are all mice in the room. Many of these @tnhrcedept including former Commissioners should be serving imprisonment for the elephants in the room - - The various instances of chronic looting of Temple Funds and Properties.

A daycare employee at Capgemini's Bengaluru campus couldn't bear the abuse of the kids at the centre.

She reported it to supervisor, but instead of taking action, they fired her. She then became a whistleblower and leaked videos that exposed the abuse.

In the videos, toddlers were made to sit inside the drum of a front-loading washing machine, had water sprayed into their mouths using a toilet jet spray, were locked inside bathrooms, and were forced into narrow, water-filled pipes to frighten them. The videos triggered outrage, forcing authorities to act.

Today, according to media reports, the police have arrested the whistleblower only for allegedly "leaking sensitive videos." Lol! What a system! A poor woman with a clear conscience stood up to the powerful and went public, not for personal gain or with any malicious intent, but solely to protect those children. And she's the one who gets arrested.

It is sad to note that instead of looking at its core functions which are the maintenance of proper financial records and collection of land revenue, the politicians and officers of Koodalmanikyam Devaswom over the decades have been illegally interfering with the religious traditions of the temple. Had they been more focused on doing their actual job instead of interfering in matters of religion, things would never have gone to such a dismal state.

It is high time, the Koodalmanikyam Devaswom Board in its current form is dissolved. The dissolution of the board in its current form is one of the main prayers of this petition. Praying to Lord Sangameshwara who brought out this corruption to guide us towards the path of victory in our battle against the corruption prevalent in his temple.

We thank local devotees Shri @jaypanicker and Shri @KJinoy who reached out to us for legal assistance on this matter and are fighting against corruption valiantly in the courts. We also thank our counsel Adv Shri KS Bharathan for his tremendous arguments which brought about this success.

FACT : All these 3 boys HAD NOT EVEN SEEN the girl who filed a gangrape case against them

Father of these boys says @DelhiPolice @CPDelhi conducted NO INVESTIGATION AT ALL before putting all the boys in Jail & infact demanded 50 LACS from him if he wanted to save his boys. He also compelled this man to leave the property to save his life

But this family decided to fight and now after 5 years court has declared all the boys INNOCENT

OFCOURSE NO PUNISHMENT TO EITHER THE GIRL AS SHE WAS A MINOR, NO PUNISHMENT TO THE REAL SISTER OR THE MEN WHO CONSPIRED TO GET THIS CASE FILED

Reality of so many #falserape POCSO cases in India today

Lives of so many men are being destroyed due to false accusations but there's ZERO RECOURSE OR RELIEF to them when they declare their innocence

Who will return 5 years of this boy's life? He was thrown out from the school when this case happened. He has a tag of gangrapist, who will wash that away?

What about punishment to police officers who DID NOT DO THEIR DUTY & instead tried to extort the family themselves?

How can it be so easy to ruin a life with the help of the laws?

It is quite disappointing to see that the current Public Information Officer - Ms. K. Jayapriya - in the Office of the Commissioner of the @tnhrcedept is following the footsteps of her predecessors in shamelessly refusing information sought under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
Though I have not interacted much with this person who is now holding a position of Joint Commissioner in the HR&CE Department - and consequently a person who can also be identified as a Law Graduate - I have known her to be a knowledgeable person and someone who can really understand the subject of Religious Endowments unlike many in the Department who cannot even read or write proper English (or Tamil for that matter) in spite of holding high positions and being law graduates.

This Lady Ms. K Jayapriya is currently the Public Information Officer in the Office of the Commissioner of @tnhrcedept. I had asked copies of a few proceedings of the Commissioner vide my RTI application dated 14.03.2026. Madam condescended to look at it around 16.06.2026 i.e. after two months of delay - and then sign an unlawful refusal on 23.06.2026.
She or her office or both chose to post the unlawful reply on 02.07.2026.

For the 1st 3 queries of my 4 query RTI application - Madam says the files relate to matters that are ongoing.
So what? A record is an information under the RTI Act whether finished or not. She cannot give this idiotic reason to refuse information. Maybe she can, but to do that she should surrender her Law Degree since she seem to have no use for her study of law.

For the 4th query where I have asked for copies of 6 Letters of Commissioner from a single file, she comes with another STUPID reason -
"the information you have sought has the intention of diverting the human resources of the HR&CE Department" - WOW -
She is insulting all the King's horses and the King's men in the @tnhrcedept - she seem to suggest that they are imbeciles - she will need the entire workforce, human capital, staff, personnel, officers and whatnot of the @tnhrcedept to take photocopies of 6 letters.

Ms. Jayapriya, all along, I thought you are a good officer in the @tnhrcedept who knows her job - Don't prove me wrong Ma'am.

It doesn't behove any Public Information officer in the Department to shamelessly hide information any longer.

Not after Hon'ble Chief Minister @CMOTamilnadu Shri Joseph Vijay has taken charge of Tamil Nadu in a transparent manner.

Not after his trusted Lieutenant Shri @RameshOffcl is made by the Chief Minister as the Hon'ble Minister in charge of the @tnhrcedept

P.S. By the way, did you wait for Mr. Paranjothi, former Additional Commissioner, who is named as the Appellate Authority in your letter, to retire on 30.06.2026 before posting your reply to me on 02.07.2026? Bravo !

When Maharaja Chhatrasal was around 80 years old and surrounded by the Mughal forces, with little hope left from other rulers, he turned to the one man he believed could save Bundelkhand Peshwa Bajirao I.

According to a popular tradition, Chhatrasal sent Bajirao the famous couplet:

“The plight of Bundela today is like that of Gajendra caught in the jaws of the crocodile. Bajirao, the fate of Bundelkhand now rests in your hands—protect our honor.”

The message moved Bajirao deeply. It is often said that he immediately rose from his meal. When his wife asked him to finish eating first, Bajirao is believed to have replied:

“If I am late, history will say that a Kshatriya cried out for help while a Brahmin continued eating.”

Without delay, Bajirao marched toward Bundelkhand with extraordinary speed. Tradition holds that he covered a journey of nearly ten days in just 48 hours with a small cavalry force of about 500 horsemen, riding relentlessly to reach Chhatrasal before it was too late.

Bajirao’s swift campaign forced the Mughal commander Muhammad Khan Bangash to retreat and lifted the siege of Bundelkhand. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Chhatrasal is traditionally credited with saying:

“The world has seen only two great Brahmin warriors Parashurama and Bajirao. One humbled arrogant Kshatriyas, the other humbled the Turks.”

Bajirao Peshwa was one of India’s greatest military commanders, remaining undefeated in every major battle he fought. Instead of celebrating fictional cinematic heroes, we should introduce our children to the lives of real warriors like Bajirao, whose courage, leadership, and sense of duty shaped the course of Indian history.
