Emergencies happen fast. Sure the hospital isn't cozy but there are docs there to keep momma & baby safe & ALIVE. No one wants them to be necessary but we're damn happy they are there when we do need them....

babies should be had at home in beds and baths, not fluorescent hospital rooms.

@JoeEsjay When I graduate I'll have a degree in chem which gives me the option for working in a lab or other industry but I'm definitely thinking about going into healthcare even though that means more school. Love healthcare & RN & above pay VERY well.

@JoeEsjay Yes. It's happened once before when my husband was ill & lost his job during the financial crisis. My previous career wasn't well paid enough so I'm finishing education atm & planning for my next career. Requirements being that I can support all of us just in case.
