Why did it take Matterface and Dixon about 60 seconds to credit Suzuki for a great save? Great skills from both players but blatant favouritism from these two clowns in favour of Brazil
@davymoncs@TEnglishSport Tom annihilating the players was disheartening? What about the players’ performances? Scared of the ball. Brilliantly backed by you guys in the stands and what did you get in return? I know the group was difficult but they barely tried. TE right to call them out
@scotlandscoeff1 The players will be devastated? They should be ashamed. They are (mostly) all top pros and should be able to read the game and if necessary make adjustments to mitigate Clarke’s awful coaching. Instead they shat the bed. Woeful. Let everyone down.
@BBCSportScot As a nation we seem to be crippled by negativity that manifests itself in a woeful lack of ambition. Why should we be satisfied with just qualifying?Regardless of the historical context we should want more. Start by getting rid of the @ScottishFA
@MattLindsayHT@heraldscotland We have talent, we just can’t afford that talent to be coached in the manner the current squad is! We also need to lose this “old pals” act that Clarke deploys when he picks his squads
@MattLindsayHT@heraldscotland Well that’s why we need to grasp the nettle now before another 4 years of Clarke drags us further down the toilet end of international football. That and have a serious look at our league structure and rules . The sole motivation behind our league can’t be 4 OF games a season!
@offtheballbbc The Euros re-visited. Offered next to nothing. Were badly coached by a head coach who doesn’t know his best 11 and made glaring tactical mistakes in all 3 games. The players are decent but they too let us down badly. Unlike other “small” nations, we weren’t even up for having go
@bryandocherty80 They played like they were scared of the ball. They brought this on themselves.
Sick of their “we need to be better” platitudes. They let us down badly.
@stirling_j I think you need to rephrase. “If any nation accepts the miserable under performance of its national team as readily as Scotland” …. I hope for once that the tide is turning
@EasyPeasy_3 Great post, James. I’m left wondering if this is the case in England? Similar football culture and yet they produce better players than we do? Don’t use the size argument- that’s been consistently de-bunked internationally. Cape Verde are the latest example.
@PLZSoccer@PeterMsport Bin him. The “football” we play is awful to watch and achieves nothing. The players shat it but they are not shite. We’re the worst coached team in the tournament. He should have been fired after the Euros.
