12 wins. One grassroots campaign. And we are just getting started. ๐บ๐ธ๐ฅ
This campaign has been built on grit, growth, and execution, not political machine power.
โ 700+ ballot signatures
โ 200,000+ social media supporters
โ A decisive primary win
โ $60,000+ raised
โ Door knocking days of action
โ A 1,800-square-foot campaign headquarters secured in the heart of the district
Every win is proof that Illinoisโ 1st Congressional District is ready for something different.
We are building momentum. We are organizing. We are showing up. And we are proving that this race is real.
Now we have to keep going.
Help us turn these wins into victory in November. ๐บ๐ธ

One of the biggest fears successful parents have is that they'll give their kids everything they never had
and accidentally take away the very thing that made them successful in the first place.
In this conversation, i sits down with my son Kyle to discuss the real systems they used to build work ethic, ambition, financial intelligence, and personal responsibility without creating entitlement.
From trading a baseball bat into an arcade machine, to starting businesses as kids, to learning directly from entrepreneurs worth tens and hundreds of millions of dollars, this is a candid look at what actually works when it comes to passing values from one generation to the next.
If you're a parent, entrepreneur, investor, or someone thinking about the legacy you're building, this is a conversation you won't want to miss.

Before they are old enough to drive, they are learning how to stay safe when that day comes.
On Day One of The X For Girls, King Randall taught the girls gas station safety, then treated them to Sonic slushies and an arm wrestling competition. ๐ช๐ฝ๐ฅค
Our elected officials work for the people who elected them. We must hold them accountable.
Kudos to Christian Maxwell for rocking the boat. Let's help her win in November.

New Lenox show up on the 16th to Jonathanโs Townhall.
He needs to be held accountable the neglect, the lack of policy and the race baiting that sets our state back!
I spoke with a member of the technical staff at Anthropic yesterday who is about to make $17 million.
He's been there less than 2.5 years and is blown away by his equity value. His biggest worry now is tax strategy.
His CPA told him to "max out his 401(k) and consider a donor-advised fund."
While that's a great starting point, here's what makes even more sense:
He's acquiring a 48 unit apartment complex in Phoenix for $14.5 million.
We're running a cost segregation study to reclassify approximately 30% of the depreciable basis into 5, 7, and 15 year property.
Here's the math:
โข $14.5M purchase price
โข ~$12.3M depreciable basis (excluding land)
โข ~$3.7M reclassified to short-life assets via cost seg
โข 100% bonus depreciation under OBBBA = $3.7M accelerated to Year 1
Plus standard Year 1 depreciation on the remaining basis adds another ~$315K.
Total Year 1 deduction: approximately 4M.
His wife is qualifying as a real estate professional 750+ hours, more time than any other activity. The loss is no longer passive. It offsets ordinary income.
At a 37% federal bracket plus 13.3% California, that's a combined rate just over 50%.
$4M ร 50% = 2M+ in tax savings. Year 1.
Layer in operating expenses, loan interest, and startup costs on the property, the total offset against his Anthropic income crosses $3 million.
Not deferred. Not spread over 27.5 years.
Meanwhile, the property cash flows. He's converted concentrated tech stock into a real asset producing monthly income. And he's done it all before he files the return on his equity windfall.
This is what real tax planning looks like for tech liquidity.
If you're an engineer, exec, or early employee sitting on a meaningful equity position and your CPA hasn't mentioned cost segregation, bonus depreciation, or REPS qualification, you're probably leaving seven figures on the table.
Under capitalism, socialists are free to build socialism.
Under socialism, capitalists arenโt free to build anything.
Nothing stops a group of socialists pooling their money, forming a company, and splitting every wage and every pound of profit perfectly equally.... Or to donate all profit to the government.
Itโs legal. Itโs easy. Owning the means of production is as simple as setting up a company.
Marx wrote his manifesto before the invention of limited liability companies. Back then โseize the factoryโ meant seizing it from the handful of families who could afford one.
That argument expired the day anyone could start a company with limited liability, raise investment and hire who they want.
Socialists are free to lead by example and demonstrate their system works. They can out-recruit, out-motivate, out-build and out innovate based on their ideas if they like. It would prove the philosophy works. Capitalism will happily host their experiment.
The fact that nobody does this tells you a lot.
Friends in Illinois:
* Take a good look at Christian Maxwell. Especially if you're in the 1st Congressional District.

Does the GOP know Illinois exists?
Yes.
But too many people in Washington still arenโt sure if Illinois has enough fight left to win.
So we have to show them.
We are nearing the 150-days-out mark from an election that could change the future of this state.
And if we win Illinoisโ 1st Congressional District, if we take a district they wrote off as โsafe Democratโ and turn it into a Republican-led district, we do not just win one race.
We change what is possible in Illinois.
We prove the South Side, the suburbs, working families, parents, seniors, veterans, small business owners, and fed-up voters are not permanently owned by the Democrat machine.
This is the race that can change history.
This is the race that can put Illinois back on the map.
This is the moment that tells the national party, the media, and every political insider that Illinois is worth fighting for.
So Iโm asking 150 people to invest $150 over the next 10 days to help us ring the alarm, build the operation, reach voters, and prove that this district is in play.
I want you to be one of them.
This is our moment โ but only if we claim it.
Invest $150 now and help us make history:

When a Walgreens closes on Chicagoโs South Side, the easy response is to blame the company.
The harder question is this:
What conditions made it impossible for that business to stay?
In my latest Rooftop Revelations, I challenge a narrative that has become far too common. If we want grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, banks, and businesses to invest in our communities, we must be willing to have an honest conversation about crime, theft, public safety, and accountability.
This is not just a Chicago story.
It is a story about every community in America that wants opportunity, investment, jobs, and economic growth.
The truth is that prosperity cannot survive where disorder is tolerated.
If we want businesses to come, stay, and serve our neighborhoods, we must create conditions where they can thrive.
I invite you to read, reflect, and join the conversation.

The 5 questions I ask EVERY seller before we talk price.
Most investors go straight to numbers. Before I ever mention price, close of escrow, or terms...
I ask these 5 questions:
1. Why haven't you sold this on the market?
2. What's kept you from selling?
3. Why am I here? What can I do to help YOU?
4. Catch me up on the process so far. What do we need to do next?
5. In a perfect world, with a magic wand, how would YOU solve this?
I don't compete with real estate agents. I find the people they CAN'T help.
Save this. Remember it for your next seller call. ๐ฒ
I can show you why Spencer Pratt is going to win...
I saw it for myself.
Karen Bass does NOT want you to see this.
Remember how the fire hydrants had no water during the Palisades fire? That's because the massive Santa Ynez Reservoir was empty. It was empty because of LA's incompetent leaders. Californians died because of this. Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass claimed they refilled it.
Well guess what...
18 months later, itโs STILL empty. Not a single drop. They want the fires to happen again. They don't care. Security has now been posted outside the Santa Ynez Reservoir to keep the public from seeing the truth.
Good thing we brought a drone... look at this devastation. Look at what they did.
LA, it will be your house next. Vote Spencer Pratt.
To my fellow Angelenos who want change, and are considering voting for Nithya Raman, I can assure you, she is not fit for the job, and she has no path to victory. A vote for Nithya is a vote for Karen Bass. I am ready to earn your vote and make LA feel safe for all.
SpaceX millionaires 4,000 x $1mil , 400 x $100 mil
Every employee who joined before the first succesful launch made (unless they sold early) more than $100 million.
SpaceX lists June 12 at ~$1.75T.
Work backward from the cap table. At $1.75T, clearing $100M takes ~0.0057% of the company.
- 2002โ2008, first ~500 in: joined at a ~$50M company. Held to $1.75T = a 17,000x. The core of the club โ maybe 150โ250 left holding
- September 2008, SpaceX has first successful launch
- 2010โ2016: joined at $1Bโ$10B. Needs a senior grant โ directors, principal engineers, early Starlink. ~100โ200
- C-suite + board: Shotwell, Johnsen past $1B. A layer of SVPs below them clears $100M on equity, not salary. ~20โ40
- Post-2016: joined at $20Bโ$350B. To hit $100M you'd have needed ~0.4% of the company. Impossible for an employee. This is the millionaire tier โ almost none reach $100M
The tally:
~400โ500 at $100M+
A few dozen above $500M
A handful of billionaires past Musk

โ How do we protect our investors and ourselves?
โ What happens when assumptions run into market reality?

I lived in LA for 2.5 years. @spencerpratt makes sense. If you live in (or care about) LA, take a look at this mayoral candidate.
His 9-minute video is much better than a sound bite.
I'm thinking about the sheer subversive genius of this campaign...
In case you don't know, it rarely rains in SoCal so the streets and sidewalks of Los Angeles get very dirty very quickly--so they need to be constantly washed.
But due to the do-nothing administration of Mayor Karen Bass, the sidewalks haven't been washed in 4 years.
So the Pratt Campaign created a sidewalk stencil. You see sidewalk stencil "art" all over LA, but it's normally used by rich-kid trust-funder leftists to paint political graffiti.
But instead of using cans of spray paint, the Pratt campaign used power washers. Instead of paint, the message is spelled out in clean concrete.
This genius is an example of genius marketing, because:
1) It subverts the political language of the Left but using clean sidewalk instead of spray paint.
2) There's no form of persuasion more powerful than something you see IRL with your own eyes. This is far more persuasive than any video.
3) It reminds voters that: the city is dirty due to government neglect, elicits an visceral/emotional response ("ew, that's disgusting"), and presents Spencer as the solution.
4) It also gets voters to "think past the sale" and imagine a future Los Angeles where Spencer is mayor ALL sidewalks are clean.
This type of marketing doesn't lead to social media clicks, and there's no way to log "impressions". But it's cheap, elegant, and actually gets people to change their minds.
Keep up the good work Team Spencer๐ซก
Christian Maxwell (@themodpun) is a candidate for the US Congress in a district where I lived for many years. She and I recently spoke via video. She is a clear thinker. She and her husband are raising a family in Illinois. Her vision for CD1 in Illinois makes sense.
This lady blends rational thought with courage. We need that.
Take a look and decide for yourself.
https://t.co/y9gjvIKXuh
Yes, Jonathan, we are insane... insane enough to walk away from a low-effort congressman like you.
You ignore the mayors of the district when they call for help.
You ignore American citizens, but will beat the doors of an illegal alien detention center down.
You ignore slain police officers, teen takeovers, murders and decay all over the district, city and state.
So yes, we are insane.
Insane with a desire to demand more for ourselves.
We're also insane enough to fight like hell to take that seat from you, so that we can finally get to the work of rebuilding CD1 and driving out corruption.
It's time to show how insane we really are.
Sincerely,
an Insane Republican Black
Christian Maxwell
