He's playin' the game.
There's no opportunity to be in a good-enough-place to go with an ex and hold hands as you maneuver through the crowd.
I had a friend who said he was still friends with his ex at the time as he was seeing his new gf. Truth came out, cheating... and played both of them.
She was the landlord, and put the tenant through hell. It wasn't just the cooking beef from my understanding. Lots of tenants rights that she broke.
Cops showed up after a lot of evidence was posted online and took her away in handcuffs. She just sent some people to threaten the Tenant to evict him and his belongings while she was in jail.
"You made all his dreams come true. After you completed your education, he was so relaxed. He wasn't worried about your future from then on."
The thing about grief is as you get older, your perspective changes. I look back and see things I should have done differently. I wish I had a better understanding of things at that point in time, surrounded myself with better people and valued my time with my family more than my time building experiences I thought I missed out on.
But at the end, Dad was still proud. He saw my potential, and I think he knew I'd come out better with time.
I know I'll always miss him, I just struggle with what I wish I did differently back then.
I took my family out to dinner, my mother was in attendance.
It was a moment where I deeply missed my late father. I'm not sure if I wore it on my face but it was enough for my Mom to ask me what was wrong as I drove her home.
I opened up and mom is one person that I'm transparent about my feelings. There is also a level of guilt that arises as I talk about the past, what I miss, and how I miss him. However, she gave me some insight:
I've lived in the area for 2 years and I'm still working on exploring locally.
So, I went for a walk post dinner. I was a few blocks from home and saw a cat, perched on her front-yard (tagged, and cat was groomed).
Cat allowed pets and didn't claw me.
Wholesome, yes.
Necessary, no.
Made my day feel better, absolutely.
@IronAngabel I have, however I don't wear rings while working out. I have thought of using the ring for pre-gym/post-gym data and use my smartwatch for when I'm in the gym / doing something fitness related.
Not sure if anyone else has adapted that or not.
How do you find a balance between using an old wrist watch and also a fitness tracker.
Im looking at options so I can wear my old watches again, and still collect all the metrics from my fitness tracker without looking like a dweeb.
@DomainDead We grew up looking at Dorian Yates / Ronnie Coleman / Jay Cutler.
I'm curious to see what the next generation does aspiring to be looksmaxxers.
