I know I keep saying it, but now that we're a full year into this thing I'm just blown away by how millions of teachers across the country have completely shifted and reimagined both their pedagogy and their role as educators to continue serving their students. It's incredible.
If you have been doing hybrid teaching, with students in classroom & online at same time, what is the one most important piece of advice you would offer to those of us who are likely to be starting this for first time in coming months?
I wonder what might happen if educators let go of the false promise of a “return to normal” and instead realized that now is the time to take risks, reinvent teaching and learning, and create a better educational system that’s designed for everyone and not the privileged few
Growth is hard to measure in any year. Effectiveness, much harder.
I don't find projections using past data convincing as validity evidence supporting *high-stakes* test uses in COVID-affected 2021.
But I remain hopeful about measuring growth in 2021 under low stakes.
I'm considering starting a PhD program...but, would like to do so online. Anyone know of a good online program--particularly surrounding math education?
