Today, I was on my bike waiting to turn left on University Ave from 4th Ave southbound. This is a protected bike lane on the left side of a one way road, with a dedicated bike signal. When the bike signal is green, cars have a red left arrow to protect cyclists. 1/n

I started to turn left when I had the green light. I was cut off by one car turning left on the red arrow. Immediately after that, another car followed their lead and had to slam on their brakes to avoid hitting me. 4th and 5th are examples of fantastic bike infrastructure. (2/3)
