@Thinkwert Yes, was a full time grocery clerk and college student.
I was assigned to tell people to wash their hands with the Purrell bottle. I went to the entering customers with it.
My drama courses in school were what most helped me with this job and 2020.
I lived it well!
@ReviewsPossum The Morgenthau Plan for post-war Germany would had killed 40% of the Germans by famine.
The war wouldn't had stopped, a second Holocaust would had been the next step.
@GuruOfSyrinx I know what Halo fans want.
They want to go back in the FEELING of their childhood in the 2000's.
Either it is my childhood or yours, the past will always be better.
There were no bills to pay, no responsibilities and mom's was cooking you diner.
Voila my take, as a Halo fan.
@zemotion I'm my business university courses and within the textbook itself. We were taught how to use social media as a marketing toolbox.
Our professor said that it was a gift from Heaven.
But the other side of the medal was that you have to compete with everyone else online.
Yikes!
What blows my mind about the Roman Empire is that lack of technology is far easier to overcome than lack of freedom from bureaucrats
Like unironically these guys built the most insane civic architecture and still hold the record
We have to technology to build something a hundred times bigger than ever but instead we chose to employ bureaucrats and allow them to micromanage every detail of buildings down to toilet spacing and the number of fasteners per foot
They were willing to spend a significant portion of their GDP on making their civilization epic, and we have cheap bullshit and decay
Terrible trade
Absolutely humiliating
@David_Da_Boss AND between employees.
I speak by professional witness and thankfully not experience; NEVER hook up with another employees. It generates drama.
ROLE ANNOUNCEMENT!
From creepy red cannibal guy to creepy clown! I'm happy to help Pugzilla Productions on their trailer for Razor the Rock and Roll Werwolf! This is gonna be a cool one guys!
George Lucas says AI “means it’s much easier for us to make movies.”
“It’s very much like sitting here saying, ‘Well, I believe the horse and the buggy is really where it’s at. These cars, they break down, they need gas, there’s all kinds of problems with them and pretty soon they’ll be making them into tanks, and then they’ll be killing people. It’s terrible.’ There’s nothing you can do about it,
That’s progress, it’s the future…If you want AI that tells you when something is fake and where it came from, AI can do that. Humans can’t, we’re not that smart. The whole idea is you’re a human being, you’re responsible for what you say and what you do, and if you’re doing something that’s illegal you should be punished for that. Whatever you do, you should be recognised. It’s just like real life.”

@BeAfraid_Movies Except for Army of Darkness, it is the same formula: Condensed location, deaths that are one-by-one, Necronomicon, gore, forest, etc.
It has became repetitive and I won't go see the new one.
I detest gore.
And no, I'm not interested in the Terrifer franchise.
